Re: Miss Cathy Jones, aged 25
I am referring Miss Jones, who is suspected to have ectopic pregnancy. She requires emergency assessment and management from your facility.
Currently, Miss Jones is having severe pain, vaginal bleeding overnight as well as left shoulder-tip pain was reported. Physical examination revealed very tender in the right iliac fossa with guarding and rebound tenderness and febrile was observed. On examination, cervical excitation and markedly tender in the right fornix were noticed. Apart from pregnancy text was positive.
Miss Jones is a single woman and working as a receptionist. Family history revealed of deep vein thrombosis. There is no history of previous pregnancy. Two month ago, she had been using progesterone oral pill were reported and also she had new partner sine last two month. However yesterday she had above mentioned complaints but there was non-specific abdominal pain. Therefore advised her blood test and reassessment for the coming morning.
Based on the aforementioned circumstances, she requires urgent assessment and management under your facility. It wound be profoundly beneficial.
